  • 7 gallon Dendrocalamus 'Parker's Giant' Bamboo - donated by Chuck Caldwell, Caldwell Nursery 'Parker's Giant' is a giant form of Bambusa beecheyana - The book says it gets 50" tall, 5" canes and is tolerant of 15 degrees F. It has massive, thick culms.

  • Bambusa textilis 'Kanapaha' - donated by Kinder and Mary Len Chambers -This species grows larger than the normal Bambusa textilis in Florida (50 feet tall, 2.5 inch diameter culms, tolerates 18 degrees F. From the Kanapaha Garden in Gainsville, Florida.

Proceeds are used to provide research, information, education, assistance to public bamboo gardens, support for bamboo artists, and to bring new varieties to the multi-state region represented by the Texas Bamboo Society.
